In the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty four, on February third, at eight o'clock in the morning, was born, and on the tenth day of the same month, at ten o'clock in the morning, was baptised by the undersigned:
Martin Valentin Karg son of the married couple Georg Nikolaus Karg, a local citizen and farmer, and his wife Eva, born Masengarb also from here. -Godfather: Martin Kemmet, son of the deceased local citizen and plumber Valentin Kemmet and his wife Margaretha, born Mörbel of Appenheim. -Witnesses: 1)Michael Fleck, farmer and 2)Peter Joachim, protestant teacher, both local citizens.
